Maeve Riley is a senior Drama & Theatre Studies and English Literature student at Elon University and lead student dramaturg for The Wolves. While an undergraduate, Maeve has become involved in the Department of Performing Arts at Elon, working as a dramaturg, actor, choreographer, and director for various student and departmental productions. This spring, Maeve will be directing Irish playwright Brian Friel’s Molly Sweeney as the culmination of her honors thesis. After graduation, Maeve aspires to obtain a master’s and eventually a doctorate in dramaturgy and dramatic criticism while studying in Ireland.
Katie Paris is a senior Theatrical Design & Technology and Drama & Theatre Studies double major with a minor in Spanish. Previous regional credits include Murder for Two (Hope Summer Repertory Theatre, A1), The Old Man and the Old Moon (Hope Summer Repertory Theatre, A2), and West Side Story (Hope Summer Repertory Theatre, A3/Backup A1). Previous Elon credits include The Elephant Man (sound design), Cabaret (A2), Clown Bar (ASM), Sweeney Todd (A1), The Wedding Singer (A1), Baby with the Bathwater (sound design), Baby (A2), and Twelfth Night (dramaturg). She is so excited to be working on The Wolves with such a great dramaturgy team!!
Emily Grove is a senior Theatrical Design & Technology major from Houston, Texas. Her previous Elon credits include 1940's Radio Hour (Stage Manager), Cabaret (Stage Manager), Baby (Assistant Stage Manager), The Importance of Being Earnest (Assistant Stage Manager), and Parade (Assistant Stage Manager). Emily has enjoyed working with this wonderful dramaturgy team, and she is excited to share this production with everyone!
Blaine Bentsen is a junior BFA Acting major at Elon University. They are so thrilled to be apart of the dramaturgy team for The Wolves. Previous Elon credits include Gus/Augustus Coverly (Arcadia), Student U/S (American La Ronde), Daisy U/S (Baby with the Bathwater). Other credits include, (TV/FILM) Trixie (Stealth) and Season 2, Episode 5 of Step Up: High Water on YouTube Premium. Their next project is APO's production of Dog Sees God as Beethoven.
Shannon O'Shaughnessy is a sophomore Drama & Theatre Studies and Vocal Performance double major with a minor in Dance. Originally from Alexandria, Virginia, Shannon is excited to be dramaturging her first show here at Elon. This past summer she performed in La Traviata and La Boheme in Florence, Italy with fellow Elon Performing Arts Students. Shannon would like to thank the entire company and crew of The Wolves for such an amazing collaborative experience!
